Description
My creation of what it must have looked like to be up in the air with the 3 Hurricane's passing overhead. This is a 2D digital drawing of the famous British fighter, the Hawker Hurricane. Digitally drawn aircraft and sky with vintage photo taken at Murmansk-Vaenga airfield, Russia.
The Hawker Hurricane is a British single-seat fighter aircraft of the 1930s-1940s that was designed and predominantly built by Hawker Aircraft Ltd for the Royal Air Force (RAF). Although overshadowed by the Supermarine Spitfire, the aircraft became renowned during the Battle of Britain, accounting for 60% of the RAF's air victories in the battle, and served in all the major theatres of the Second World War.

I think maybe I am the spitfire here, Douglas :-) And yes, this belongs in a historical collection of some sort. I can see the potential....

;) I plan on bringing this around to art shows coming up in the year, maybe it will catch someone's eye. You never know unless you put it out there for people to see.

Hey, you can't do a British airplane that isn't a Spitfire! I am pretty sure that is the law. Very nice work, John, and this to me looks like a great book cover.
John Wills replied:
Well, I can and I did, TWICE! I've heard that before too. ;) Thanks, appreciate it.
