A6M2-N Sea Plane metal print by John Wills.   Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

My guess....if Rufe is short for Rufus, it would sound like roof

Probably, it's that or it sounds like roofy. lol

All I know is that Rufe was the Allied code word for it...they used male names for fighters and female names for bombers and transports. Everyone called the Zeke a Zero anyway, the one exception.

I hadn't noticed the gender assignment but yeah, not that you mention it.. Betty was a bomber (known to the Japanese as the cigar because of the shape, Jill was a torpedo bomber, Lily, Nell, Helen...etc etc..
