Description
A lone black panther scans the horizon at sunset.. A black panther is the melanistic color variant of any Panthera species. Black panthers in Asia and Africa are leopards (Panthera pardus) and black panthers in the Americas are black jaguars (Panthera onca). Black leopards are common in the equatorial rainforest of Malaya and the tropical rainforest on the slopes of some African mountains such as Mount Kenya. They are also common in Java, and are reported from densely forested areas in southwestern China, Myanmar, Assam and Nepal, from Travancore and other parts of southern India where they may be more numerous than spotted panthers. One was recorded in the equatorial forest of Cameroon.

Denise, I am thinking that if that beautiful sky glow is a sunset or sunrise, then the moon, if used, would really have to be a thin crescent moon. I think it works with or without the moon.

The highlights add more definition to the animal. Why was the moon in the sky removed?

Thanks so much everyone, I appreciate the support. Image updated to show highlights on the cat's muscles, it's very faint gray.
