Yes, I understand that. The left side of the body represents the feminine, the right side the masculine. There are many parallels of this.

Thanks Maria, glad you like it. I was going for a powerful presence and a sense of being well protected. Feng Shui will dictate you place them near the entrance to a building. You can put them anywhere you like as well, but if you're into Feng Shui, they would be situate near an entrance for protection.

Yes while there is feminine energy present, unless you know the philosophy, the Fu dog on the left is always female but it's hard to distinguish the two.
