lol.. I was trying to keep the explanation as simple as possible, it's not easy, but it's not rocket science either. It's tedious and you have to be meticulous with the shape creations or it looks sloppy.

I completely redraw the parts are particularly bad or need clarification. On this one, I thought he was wearing some kind of rubber neck warmer. I was wrong it was his skin. lol, so he had a black neck in the early stages until I realized the error. ;)

Thank you Denise. You basically redraw shapes based on their color, then assign colors to match the real life version. You have to assign a transparency effect to each shape so you can see the photo underneath. Then you have to adjust the colors once the transparency is applied until it looks correct. The most time is spent picking closely around each shape. There's more to it, but that's 80-90% of how I do it. :)
