Artist's Description
Thank you for your visit today. This painting depicts the endangered red crowned or crested crane. This bird lives only in Japan and is down to one last flock that has only a few thousand members. This is due to overpopulation of humans and encroachment into their natural habitats. If there is a disease in one, it could effectively end this creatures time on earth as it could spread to the rest o the flock.
Beautiful sunset sky with blazing red/orange/yellow hues with a calming aqua-marine water scene.
